Yarek and Raúl Jiménez are crowned European Under-19 Champions


The two Valencia CF players were key players for Spain throughout the tournament, beat France in the final (2-0)

Yarek Gasiorowski and Raúl Jiménez were proclaimed champions of the U-19 European Championship this Sunday in Belfast (Northern Ireland), where the Spanish national team defeated France by 2 goals to 0.

Iker Bravo put Spain ahead in the final with a good move just before the break and in the 68th minute Assane Diao scored the final 2-0.

Yarek and Raúl, the two Valencianistas trained at the VCF Academy, have been two fundamental pieces in the national team since the beginning of the tournament, putting in great performances and standing out as two of the leaders of the Spanish rearguard.
